Location was great, staff and room overall

The location is great. As a solo female traveller, I felt very safe here. I wanted a quiet room and they really delivered. Had a really great, super-calm stay overall - the room was clean, the bed was comfortable and the shower was perfect. The staff is friendly and helpful too. The check-in and check-out process was quick and smooth. The first day I couldn't work out the a/c controls and asked for help. The housekeeping staff set-up the controls at my preferred setting and I didn't have to bother with it for the rest of my stay.

The staff was very friendly and kind and the facilities super nice. I arrived in the afternoon before my room was ready and when I came back to check into my room, they had given me an upgrade to very beautiful suite. All things considered, including value, staff, location, and facilities, I highly recommend this hotel for a stay in Madrid’s nicest area, Salamanca.

The property very nice installations seems recently remodeled. The location is wonderful walking distance to key areas of the barrio of salamanca including the shopping area.

The price was great including buffet breakfast (we stayed 3 nights from September 1 - 4). We have 4 rooms (2 rooms with king bed and 2 rooms with 2 single beds). All the rooms are facing to residential apartments which is good (quiet at night no noise from the street). Buffet breakfast is good with a variety of choices, however, the breakfast hours is opening late from 8 AM to 11:30 AM (it should be 6 AM to 10 AM). We had a train to catch at 7:30 AM so we could not have breakfast on that day. Room is comfortable with single bed or double beds. Everything is small (from shower, room, etc.) compared to the United States hotels rooms for the 4-star hotel, but it has everything that we need. Some staff members speak English fluently and some don't but they are very nice and helpful. There are several restaurants nearby but the waiters don't speak English so we used our Google phone translation. We ate at the hotel restaurant once for dinner and it was very good (3-course meal) for 3 people with the price EUR $69. The taxi from the airport to the hotel is $30 EUR one-way for 6 passengers including bags (17 minutes ride) and we think it is cheap. There is a supermarket next the hotel (less than 1 block of walking) which is very convenient for us to buy water, fruits, and other stuff. One thing we like is that they provide cold fresh lemon or orange juice throughout the day at the lobby.
